THE PRODUCT THAT STARTED IT ALL

I first created this cure all balm to heal my own skin after living with a rare form of eczema as a child and was blow away by the results. In fact, I’ve never had a reoccurrence in the nearly quarter century since and when my niece reached out a few months ago with the same issues, we were able to get her skin on track in a few weeks flat. Infused with a synergistic blend of organic botanicals proven to accelerate the healing of flaking, cracking, irritation, redness, minor cuts, scrapes, blisters and burns, it helps to reduce scar formation and deftly targets inflammation. A real solution for eczema and gentle enough for all skin types, I like to keep it on hand for the inevitable Summer mishaps: sunburns, bug bites and scrapes.

MILLIONS OF PEACHES, PEACHES FOR ME

It might sound a little crazy having shipments of organic peaches arrive on your doorstep. But these aren't ordinary peaches: they are the most glorious, glowing orbs of peachy wonderfulness you've ever eaten. Frog Hollow delivers tree to table in 48 hours and I've never received a single shipment that was anything short of otherworldly. My yearly birthday gift to myself, if you're a peach lover and could use a bright spot in your Summer, treat yourself.

READY TO DITCH THE DYE?

I just started noticing my first few gray hairs this year so discovering the book Going Gray: What I learned About Beauty, Sex, Work, Motherhood, Authenticity, and Everything Else That Really Matters was timely. What do you think? Will you try to maintain your natural color or let nature take it's course? And those of you who've already made the choice - which did you choose? And if you're on the fence like me, this book is great reading that is proving very clarifying.

SMALL BUT MIGHTY

I always carry a pot of Nectar Balm in my purse. This small but mighty treatment is an aromatherapeutic semi-solid that melts at body temperature and is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and enzymes. I use it to mend cuticles, hydrate lips, tame frizzy hair or anywhere you could use a mood-elevating and hydrating perfume balm - fresh out of production this morning.

YEAH, A MUSHROOM BURGER. TRUST.

I was just talking about this on Friday I would be remiss to not mention it in our June Beauty Edit since I will likely eat it at least, let’s say, eight times this month. The sauce isn’t optional - it’s essential. You whip it up in five seconds in a blender and I’ll go on record saying: it’s so delicious, I could drink it like a beverage. Slathered over portobellos as they slow-grill (take your time and be rewarded with a a silken and perfectly cooked, never rubbery meat sub) it’s a thing of beauty. Layer on a bun (I prefer brioche and Whole Foods, though evil as all get out, makes a wonderful one) with melty provolone, avocado and onions. You're welcome.

IT'S PRICEY TO MAKE TONERS THE WAY WE DO

But we wouldn’t have it any other way. While other brands fill their toners with cheap alcohols, water and pseudo-natural filler, our toners are comprised of pure, organic hydrosols.

Every bottle of this fresh, youth infusion is brimming with the blossoms of immortelle. Sourced directly from the island of Corsica, immortelle contains two unique constituents for skin health: nearyl acetate and diketones. Nearyl acetate is an anti-inflammatory, wrinkle reducing and blemish neutralizing terpenoid that offers improved barrier rebuilding and ceramide synthesis after just five days of use. Diketones are a compound that enhance fibroblast proliferation and protect the skin’s thickness and elasticity.
