I’m writing you from my office, where the sunshine is streaming through the window and making the light dance on the wall. It seems like the warmth and light has finally reached us here in the dark corners of the Northeast.

1. The Ultimate Summer Tea

I first discovered this tea on a trip of a lifetime to France with my son Litton. We’d taken the train from Paris to Aix en Provence for the lavender harvest. After a day of shopping the cobblestone alleys in the blistering 106° heat, we flung ourselves into the air conditioned arms of the Kusmi Tea Store. They just happened to be handing out samples of this delicious iced tea and we may have partaken of several before stocking up on so many tins of this goodness that we could hardly get our luggage closed. It’s fruity without being cloying and assertive without being harsh. It makes a great sun tea and if I’m looking for a lighter cocktail in the evening, mix it 50/50 with prosecco in the Spring and Summer months. Delish!
